Brown and grizzly bear cubs at the Bronx Zoo.

Now in its fourth season, THE ZOO continues to provide viewers an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the animals, staff and day-to-day operations of the world-famous Bronx Zoo and the four other Wildlife Conservation Society parks in New York City. The show focuses on the zoo's mission to save wildlife and tells compelling stories that demonstrate the special relationships the animals and their caregivers share.

The five WCS parks temporarily closed to the public on March 16, 2020, as New York City, and many communities around the United States and the world, declared a state of emergency. The welfare of the staff and animals is always the first priority and the dedicated animal care staff continue to work every day to ensure the animals receive everything they need. From feeding and enrichment to veterinary care, the animals are in the best possible hands and there has been no disruption to animal care during the COVID-19 crisis.

Although a visit to the Bronx Zoo may not be possible, there are ways everyone can help support the zoo and its mission. Visit www.BronxZoo.com/Donate. The Bronx Zoo will reopen as soon as possible. In the meantime, everyone can enjoy the amazing Bronx Zoo at home every Saturday night at 9pm ET/PT on Animal Planet.
